Enjoy live football scores on your iPhone with Livescore.

Your football (soccer) team is playing, you are out at the supermarket with the family and desperate to know the scores… Yes, there are many apps, some even send you notifications but probably the quickest way is to access LiveScore.

LiveScore.com website has been running since 1998 but they have been providing a free iPhone app for the last year and a half. The app is very clean, shows you all the games for the day and those playing live right now with of course live scores.

The scores can be refreshed as often as 30 seconds to 180 seconds or you can manually force an update if you get impatient or nervous hoping for the final whistle to arrive.

The volume of leagues covered across the world is huge claiming more than 1000 live football / soccer games followed every week through the season including friendlies, international and cup games.

If football is not your thing, the app also supports hockey, basketball, tennis and more recently cricket with equally an impressive number of games and matches covered.

The app is also optimised for iPad, time and date localized and it has retina display support. So far LiveScore has been downloaded more than 2 million times. A great app for when you are out and about but want to keep updated.
