To start using the app you need to first of all input your current weight and height and your target weight you want to achieve. You then put the date you want to achieve this by and it will work out for you your daily calorie intake. Then each day you put in your food diary all the things you have eaten and any drinks you have had.
You can enter your meals by searching the item or you can use the barcode scanner which is very impressive and quick. Once you have found the item you then change it to the serving amount you have eaten and the app will then add all the calories for you.
It will also list up to 35 nutrients so you can see which ones you are missing out on each day and which you may be eating a little too much of. There is also an analysis section which will highlight your good points for that day and also your bad points. If there are any bad points they will tell you how you can improve on them.
You can also add your water intake each day and any exercise that you do. The great thing about the app is it will tell you how many calories you have burned and then adjust your daily calorie intake so you can see how many you have left that day. Great if you are wanting to know if you can fit in that extra chocolate bar!
If you need a recap of your plan and how you are doing there is a section for that too and if you feel it needs tweaking slightly that is easily done also. Within the app is your body weight chart which shows your current weight and what it was before. So make sure every time you weigh yourself you update the app with your results and see your weight go down.
